July Smalls

Amazingly I have three smalls, as I have stitched my main project I can now stitch on a few small things.

Mary at Mary's Thread is the lovely host of the Smalls SAL. On the last Friday of the month we share our small stitching items that we have completed but not necessarily fully finished.

Thank you Mary for hosting this great SAL, it's a super way to see everyone's little stitching.

I have stitched these two little Christmas ornies, in fact they were one design that I split in two. They are by Jennifer J Redmond and are ftom the JCS Christmas Ornament magazine 2022.

And this is a gift coaster for a special birthday soon. I used the alphabet design I used for my church tree last year.

I will be posting in August's FFO as I have a few bits to share.

Fully Finished and Gifted Gorgeousness in July

Surprise 😮 it's me ... I am still in blog land and still stitching.

I am nearing the end of my secret project, it has taken all my stitching and although not the easiest project I have done I have enjoyed every stitch ... added to by knowing its purpose.

Life has been quite busy and time seems to be passing very quickly this year. Our son and girlfriend have moved into their first home together. We had lots of boxes as he packed up, how did he fit so much into his room.

Now we are redoing our son and daughter's bedrooms. Although she has been in Wales for over 10 years her room was still needed as a bedroom but now we have two empty bedrooms we can change a few things around.

We have been on holiday and I had a super Hen Do weekend with our daughter and her friends. you can read about our travels on my other blog

Wine, food and travel with Clare Aimetu

As you can see my stitching so far this year has been very different to my usual projects but I do have something to share.

I stitched a couple of coasters for the new homemakers. We bought them engraved glasses to match too. I was very touched to see our son's degree stitching and a few other projects I have previously stitched him on display in their home.

So my post is for Rachel's, Ten Hour Stitcher, Fully Finished Objects blog post which is a super chance to show and tell about the crafty that are completely finished. Thanks Rachel.

And for Jo at Serendipitous Stitching's Gifted Gorgeousness blog post when we share our latest gifts. These can be gifts given or received, or any item made using fabric, threads, buttons, ribbon, chart, backing fabric that has been gifted.Thank you Jo.
