Anyway this weekend I have finished four items !! but I can only share two as the others are for an exchange and a SAL which is revealed next month.
My first shareable finish is our monthly challenge piece on Needlecraft Haven. One of our lovely members, Christine, chooses a Christmas freebie each month for us to stitch. I didn't keep up last year so have extra to do this year. I did stitch January's choice on time but didn't finish it before the end of the month. Although it is Christmas I wanted to use it for something else and haven't quite found what I'm looking for but I have now finished it ready.

Love birds |
I'm so pleased to finally be able to tie them I've added on to my February box finish that sits on the mantle - this is a design by The Drawn Thread and I'll probably be adding a bow to each month.
February - The Drawn Thread |
I've just realised, as reading my post to check before posting, that it's all about birds !! Did you do the RSPB Bird Watch (UK) - we did and I've sent my results off. I wonder if the mild winter will show different results. I can't believe I have a daffodil in full bloom already.
Thanks for popping by, I hope your Valentine stitching is going well :-)

Congrats on the magazine article. It was all very exciting when I did mine - I did find it strange seeing myself in print though! You have finished off some beautiful pieces and the ribbons give such a lovely finishing touch, especially the bird one - it looks like it was made for it.
Such sweet finishes. Here you are in the February issue of Cross Stitch Collection. It is so neat!
Lovely finishes! They look so sweet!
Congrats on a magazine article.
Hello Clare,
Wow the magazine article is great. Bow tying is hard, getting it to tie neatly is an achievement, they look lovely. Particularly love your finishes for this month. Have a great week.
Happy days.
Bev.
I really like your two finishes you showed us! I went and acquired the first birdie pattern--I like her stuff! Congrats on being featured in the magazine! AND in learning how to do the bows... something I should pursue also! Hugs!
Thanks for showing that magazine article that is featuring you. So I could read it, too. There is no chance to get a British stitching magazine in my region. It was so interesting to read the two pages.
Lovely finishing on your pieces. I'd love to be able to make such a nice bow. I have to check You Tube :)
Congratulations on your article - it looks great and it was nice to read more about you.
Your finishes are really sweet. I especially like the birds with their ribbon, the addition of the bow just ties the whole thing together. Great job!
Super finishes Clare, and a wonderful article in the magazine.
While the robin design is a Christmas one I don't think it is so Christmassy that you couldn't display it the rest of the year.
I managed to completely miss the birdwatch this year, I don't know how that happened
All your finishes are lovely :)
Congratulations on the ribbon tieing skill! They do look great, mine always have a tight knot at the centre not a nice flat one like your's.
The NH challenge is a great design and I love your lace trim. The birds' ribbon is perfect too.
We didn't do Birdwatch but I did have two foxes in my garden that week which made up for the rather dull pigeons we seem to have usually!
Two lovely finishes Clare. The sweet bows just add to the finishing. Congrats on your magazine article x
Clare, congrats on your magazine article - so cool to see your name, face and stitching in print. Two gorgeous finishes as well.
Delightful finishes, we missed the bird watch this year!

More great finishes. I like how you've been able to make your bows. Congratulations on your magazine article and thank you for sharing it.
