Gifted Gorgeousness in March

Well in February actually - our daughter's birthday is 17th so just after last month's GG. Unfortunately this year we didn't see her on her birthday but we had a lovely weekend together on 26th :-) You can read about it here.

Everyone loves cake on their birthday so I stitched her a cake ! This was a small kit gifted to me for my birthday so it's a double GG

Tatty Ted with cake for Philly's birthday
Gifted Gorgeousness is the wonderful SAL hosted by Jo  every month on the 15th we share any item that we've stitched, made, given or received as a gift. It's lovely to see just how much gifting happens in our lives - sometimes special days and sometimes surprises !!

That's all my stitching news for now - the reason? - I haven't been stitching. I picked a needle up on Sunday after 8 days of no crafting :-( I have no idea why bit it's lovely to be sewing again.

Thank you for calling by - happy stitching to you all x

That's a sweet little finish Clare. I have weeks like that when I don't stitch. I must say I usually find renewed enthusiasm for it when I pick the needle back up

What a sweet little stitch! I have one of these Tatty Teddy kits in my handbag, for stitching emergencies. I certainly can't imagine going 8 days without a needle in my hand!
You finished it up beautifully too. Happy (belated) birthday to your daughter!

Such a cute lovely finish. I'm sure your daughter must have loved it. I also lose my stitching mojo often and when i pick up needle after a break,it makes me realise how much I love this craft.

Thanks for taking part in GG this month.
That is such a sweet design and perfect for a double GG post.
I cannot remember the last day I did not stitch a single stitch on and certainly not for over a week! It would certainly be more than five years ago and possibly as much as seven when the Small Boy was a Large Baby!

I fall into funks where I don't stitch for a while. Sometimes other things call to me! I even managed a whole year once (though hopefully not that long ever again). Your teddy cake is adorable. :)

It's called life--gets in the way of our stitching sometimes! No apologies needed. You stitched a really cute little cake for your daughter... and I am sure it was appreciated! Thanks for sharing! Hugs!

A lovely present for your daughter. I love Tatty Teddy too, as you might have noticed, if you've spotted me on Kaye's Kitten Stitching Friday Frolics - but not recently (we've had decorating going on and I haven't stitched him for a while).
